COLLECTOR REVIEWS

I presented Renata with this sculpture as a thank you for all her support in the early days of my new career. It seemed so apt given it's called 'Holding Back' and she was encouraging me to do the opposite and follow my vocation. Here's what she had to say about it:-
"My sculpture 'Holding Back' is different from all the other art I have in my home. It's not just an amazing piece of work but seems to have its own life and energy, perhaps because all the artists emotions are sculpted into it. I love art and to own a unique piece like this created by an artist like Sally is special"

I love Sally’s work. I have three pieces on plinths that, although figurative are only subtly so. All have a strong abstract shape and lovely texture. They sit proudly on my window sills amongst cacti and succulents, enhancing and contrasting with their plant neighbours. My most recent purchase is different. A female form on a boulder. This strong figurative work, has her own presence. She sits and quietly watches our lives, needing a little space on her shelf to be properly admired in return. I’m very pleased with all of them.

Meet 'Sandwina' my gorgeous birthday gift and 'Kindred', a beautiful piece I commissioned for a dear friend. Sandwina greets all those who come and go in the entrance hall of our home.

I love Sally’s imaginative design, especially added details like a belly button! When I commissioned her to sculpt a unique gift celebrating friendship she actually presented me with a few models which were difficult to choose from! I had intended to buy one but could not decide between two specific ones…I got them both for two very different dear friends.
